Privacy

The atlas works without an account and collects as little as it can. The GeoRetina privacy policy covers anything not mentioned here.

One anonymous cookie

Opening a map sets one cookie with a random identifier so usage stays within fair limits. It identifies nobody, is not used for advertising or tracking across sites, and expires after a day.

Sharing a view

The map position and any pin you drop are part of the page address, which is what makes a view shareable. Our analytics and error monitoring record the page, not the position.

Services we use

Maps are served from GeoRetina. Opening a 3D view also loads elevation from Esri and street data from OpenStreetMap. Page views and errors are measured with Vercel Analytics and Sentry.
